The Brother Cousins are Christopher Jarrell, Jared Wells, and Jeffrey Wells. They all grew up in Stratford, OK, where they barley survived each others’ childhood antics. They all were brought to faith in Christ at the East Main Church if Christ in Stratford.
Jared and Jeffrey are brothers, and Christopher is both of their cousin, and even Jared’s brother-in-law (it’s all legit–we promise). Hence the name “Brother Cousins.” Though very alike, they are also very different; however, nothing is more important than the unity they share in the Gospel of Jesus Christ their Lord.
The Brother Cousins Project is the product of years of growing up together, trying to raise our families in the Lord, challenging each other to follow Jesus, and mercilessly busting each others’ chops. We hope to weave all those dynamics into the content here.

Christopher Jarrell
Christopher Jarrell lives and works in Stillwater, OK. He and his wife, Laura are raising 3 man-cubs in the country. They worship at the North Jardot Church of Christ, where Christopher serves on the teaching team.
His favorite topics of spiritual interest right now include positive, Biblical masculinity, gender and family issues, personal development and contextual study.
Christopher works in the technology industry, but is a teacher and artist at heart. He enjoys drawing, painting, camping and fishing.
Jared Wells
Jared lives in Plainview, TX and is a member of Northwest Church of Christ.
He and Rachel married in 2006 and they have 6 children. Yes, you read that correctly, 6 children. The ages range from 14 years to 6 weeks. They call themselves the traveling circus. There is never a dull moment around their house.
Jared grew up in Stratford, OK. He attended East Main Church of Christ where he was baptized into the Lord and was added to His Church. Since that time, he has lived in Amarillo, TX and now Plainview, TX.
Jared manages a cotton gin in a small town between Plainview and Lubbock. His interests include chasing children, reading, drawing, and tinkering around his house. His topics of interest focus around love, unity and contextual study.
Jeffrey Wells
Jeffrey lives in Lindsay, TX and has served as a member of the Concord Church of Christ in Gainesville, TX since 2016.
He is happily married with 2 children. Hannah, and his daughters, Joanna and Charlie, have helped him grow in love and service to Jesus Christ. Their entire lives revolve around bringing glory to God.
Jeffrey grew up in Stratford, OK. During his time there he became a Christian and was a member of the East Main Church of Christ. Since then he has spent time learning under different elderships such as the North Jardot Church of Christ in Stillwater, OK and the South Penn Church in Oklahoma City, OK.
His topics of interest include unity and love within the body of Christ.
